Work Small, Deliver Big! (Event Videography & PHotography)

Covering all of the details at events for both photo and video is crucial.

Since 2017 ETHDenver has happened here in Denver, Colorado. This event brings in people from all over the world to builld, network, and discuss everything in the Web3 world and Ethereum blockchain. This is a world that us at Homefield Productions were not initially very savvy on. However, for the past three years we have been hired to create video for a variety of different companies and projects involved in the event. Through covering these events, our understanding and knowlege base has grown on this subject. We have noticed that more than most industries, the people in crypto understand the importance of photo and video content when building a brand.

Photos that set the scene of the event can be creative too!

There was said to be over 350 separate events outside of the main event this year at ETH Denver! For Homefield Productions, 2025 was our biggest one yet. We were hired to cover multiple events around the city, providing both videography and photography. In four days we were tasked with covering 10 of these events or activations. The events vaired from conferences, networking happy hours, mobile activations, late night parties, to capturing an airplane towing a flying advertisement. With 10 different events, and a small local team, this took a lot of planning.

Team work makes the dream work right? Homefield is not a big operation, but for this particular week, we all put on multiple hats and moved as one. At each event we had a 2 person crew, 4 cameras, 1 drone, an audio kit, and a mobile lighting kit. Our team created a schedule that ensured every event would be covered equally. It also set us up with the ability to deliver on quick deadlines, with content being turned around 24-48 hours following each event. Staying up on communication between our team members, and the point person for each event was crucial to our success. Late night edit parties following full days of shooting allowed us the opportunity to collaborate on the post production effort. Overall we worked well as a unit, and got the job done.

We photographed and filmed at 8 different venues throughout the week.

These types of weeks are pretty fun as a small business. We push ourselves and learn what we are capable of pulling off. In a world where companies need constant content flowing in and out, it is possible to work small, work fast, and deliver big! That's what we try to do for each one of our clients at Homefield Productions. We like to keep our team compact so that you always have the personal relationship needed to make each production successful and enjoyable.

We have shared a few of the video projects below if you want to see what we came up with!
