Flying a drone for commercial purposes and flying a drone for recreation are two completely different things. It always fun to have the drone on us when traveling, but it's always tricky knowing when we are in an open air space. Throughout the years we have had some close calls with helicopters and low flying planes, that's why it's important to know how to check the air space and active air traffic. At Homefield Productions we make sure to stay up to date on the FAA regulations and standards that are necessary to properly provide drone services. The rules are frequently changing, and it's not as easy as just "throwing the drone up there for some shots". It is always best to know what you are doing is legal. Keep your brand safe by hiring licensed pilots that know where and when they can and cannot fly.
